What is Catsky AI?

Catsky AI is the registered name of $CATSKY, a Cardano native meme token minted in April 2023 with a fixed supply of 999,999,999,997 and no presale. What separates it from most meme coins is a buyback loop you can audit: the project's products earn ADA, that ADA buys $CATSKY on the open market, and every purchase is a public Cardano transaction. Between May 2023 and April 2026 the loop bought back 73.96 billion tokens over 40 buybacks, about 7.4% of the supply. This page is the short, checkable version: what the token is, who made it, where it trades and how to make sure you are looking at the real one.

The one-paragraph version

What is Catsky AI in one paragraph?

In early 2023 someone posted, then deleted, a tweet about a "Pathetically Worthless Husky Token" called $Catsky. A Cardano builder who posts as @ThaMacroman decided the joke deserved to exist, minted the token in April 2023, opened the ADA pool on Minswap, and gave the tokens away to anyone who asked. He then sent the majority of the liquidity-pool tokens to the $cardanoburn address, which nobody can spend from, so the pool cannot be withdrawn. A team formed, 155 OG NFTs went to the earliest holders, and the project started building things that earn: a token scanner, a trading bot that publishes every decision it makes, a pet-portrait studio and two stores.

The "AI" in the name is from the project's registration in the Cardano Token Registry, which describes it as cat memes, artificial intelligence and Cardano combined into AI-enabled tools (checked September 4, 2026). In practice that means the trading bot and the analytics behind CatScan. The registry entry is also why wallets show the token as Catsky AI with the ticker CATSKY and zero decimals.

Names

Is Catsky AI the same thing as $CATSKY?

Yes. Catsky AI is the token's name in the Cardano Token Registry, CATSKY is its ticker, and "Catsky coin" or "Catsky token" is what people type into a search box. All of them refer to one asset, and the only thing that proves it is the policy ID:

9b426921a21f54600711da0be1a12b026703a9bd8eb9848d08c9d921

Anyone can mint a Cardano token and call it Catsky, Catsky AI or CATSKY; the name is just text in the mint. The policy ID is the hash of the minting rules and cannot be copied. If a wallet, exchange or explorer shows a token with this name and a different policy ID, it is not this token. The swap guide shows how to search a DEX by policy ID instead of by name.

The fixed supply is enforced by the chain, not by a promise. The minting policy behind this ID is a time-lock that expired at slot 90,820,698 (June 16, 2023), so no transaction can mint more CATSKY under it. The whole supply came from one transaction on April 25, 2023 (UTC), and nothing has been burned since; that mint and the running total are on Cardanoscan.

The buyback

What does the buyback actually do?

The project's products earn ADA. A share of that ADA buys $CATSKY on Minswap, on the same order book as everyone else and at that day's price. The bought-back tokens go to the project treasury rather than back onto the market. The liquidity-pool tokens sent to the burn address are gone for good; treasury holdings are a policy choice, not a lock. Then the products keep earning and the loop turns again. Two commitments are public: the art store puts 30% of every sale toward buybacks and liquidity, and the trading bot adds 30% of net profits when it trades live (it is in a public paper-trading run as of September 4, 2026). Buybacks are discretionary, funded when the products earn, never promised on a schedule.

The record so far, read from the tracker's public API on September 4, 2026:

Buybacks executed40, the first on May 15, 2023 and the most recent on April 20, 2026
ADA deployed29,624 ADA in total
$CATSKY bought back73.96 billion, about 7.4% of the fixed supply
Liquidity-pool tokens burned16.68 billion LP tokens sent to $cardanoburn, unspendable by anyone
Where to checkbuyback.catsky.io: every row links to its transaction on Cardanoscan, with CSV and RSS exports

These numbers age; the tracker does not. If the figures on this page and the tracker disagree, the tracker is right and this page is due an update. The full mechanics, including which wallets hold the treasury, are on the tokenomics page.

Listings

Is $CATSKY on CoinGecko or CoinMarketCap?

No, as of September 4, 2026. A CoinGecko search for the token returns nothing, and CoinMarketCap has no verified listing for it. That is worth knowing for two reasons. First, some wallets and portfolio apps take their prices from those sites, so they may show $CATSKY with no dollar value even though it trades every day. Second, the absence of a listing says nothing about whether the token is real; it says the project has not completed those sites' listing processes.

Where the price does show: the Minswap token page, TapTools, and the project's own CatScan, all reading the same on-chain pool. Expect the market to be thin: daily volume is often a few thousand ADA and some days far less, so large orders move the price and small ones are the norm.

Buying

Where do I buy it and how do I verify it?

You need a Cardano wallet with some ADA in it, then one swap. The buying guide walks through it in three steps; the short version is: open the ADA to CATSKY pair on Minswap or DexHunter, check that the policy ID shown matches the one above, enter an amount, sign in your wallet, and wait for the batcher to settle the order. Keep a few spare ADA: a wallet that holds native tokens must keep a small ADA balance locked alongside them.

To verify after the swap, open the token in your wallet and compare its policy ID with the one on this page, character by character. You can also open the token on Cardanoscan, which shows the mint date (April 2023), the holder list and every transaction. Nothing on this site ever asks to connect a wallet; if a page claiming to be Catsky does, close it.

The products

What products earn the ADA?

  • CatScan (catscan.catsky.io): a free Cardano token tracker with live prices, charts and one-tap swaps. Paste a wallet address or $handle and see its holdings. No login.
  • The trading bot (api.catsky.io): an AI-assisted bot that publishes each decision it makes. It pledges 30% of net profits to buybacks when trading live; as of September 4, 2026 it is running a public paper-trading test with no real money.
  • PawForge (pawforgeart.com): a pet-portrait studio that renders your cat or dog in the style of the old masters and prints it.
  • The art store (catsky.io/shop and CatskyArt on Etsy): cat designs on prints and merchandise. 30% of every sale goes to buybacks and liquidity.
  • Memes (the meme library and free assets): no revenue, but the reason most people find the project.

What Catsky AI is not: there was no presale and no allocation to investors, there is no dated roadmap, and nothing here is financial advice. The project's habit is to publish receipts rather than promises, and to let the Cardano guides on this site be useful whether or not you ever hold the token.

Straight answers

Frequently asked

Is Catsky AI a real project or just a meme?

Both, on purpose. The token started as a joke about a deleted tweet, and the team kept the cat memes. What makes it more than a joke is checkable: a fixed supply minted in April 2023, liquidity-pool tokens burned at a public address, and 40 buybacks between May 2023 and April 2026 that anyone can open on Cardanoscan. Treat the token as a meme coin with a public record, not as an investment product.

Who created Catsky AI?

A pseudonymous builder who posts as @ThaMacroman minted the token on Cardano in April 2023 and handed it out free; a small team formed around it afterwards. The people stay pseudonymous, the work does not: the code, the products and the treasury transactions are all public.

How many CATSKY tokens exist?

999,999,999,997, minted in a single transaction under a time-locked policy that expired in June 2023, so no one can create more. The token has zero decimals, so one CATSKY is the smallest unit. Liquidity-pool burns lock tokens forever; treasury holdings are a choice the project can change. The live "supply retired" figure is on the buyback tracker.

Does Catsky AI have a roadmap?

Not in the usual sense. The project publishes what it has shipped and what it earned, not dated promises. Buybacks happen when the products earn ADA, with no fixed schedule, and the tracker shows quiet months as plainly as busy ones. If you need a roadmap with dates to feel comfortable, this is not the token for you.

Can I lose money on $CATSKY?

Yes. It is a meme token on a thin market: daily volume in the Minswap pool is often only a few thousand ADA and some days far less, so a single large order moves the price. Buybacks are discretionary and can stop. Liquidity being locked means the pool cannot be pulled, not that the price cannot fall. Never spend what you cannot afford to lose.

Not financial advice. $CATSKY is a meme token; cryptocurrency carries significant risk and you can lose everything. Buybacks are discretionary — not guaranteed, and may change or stop at any time. Do your own research; verify everything on-chain.
